The Network

                    BSNL’s Cellular Mobile network is a state-of-the-art network providing the widest coverage and a wide range of services in the state of Kerala. Cellone provides the widest coverage with the help of 1362 BTS towers integrated and a total of 638 transmission towers by the end of current expansion for which work is under progress, this is expected to increase to 2000 towers in this  phase. Cellone provides total coverage in all major cities/towns and villages throughout the country.

                    GPRS & MMS is launched and EDGE is ready for launch.

                  A total capacity of 16.2 lakh connections  commissioned by April 2006 and  another 9 lakh additional lines to be commissioned by March 2007.
