Lakshadweep is a group of islands in the Arabian sea. Though a Union Territory, it is a minor Secondary Switching Area under the Kerala Telecommunications Circle. The islands -- Kavarathi, Minicoy, Agathy, Bitra, Chetlet, Kalpeni, Amini, Kiltan, Kadamath and Androth -- constitute the Short Distance Charging Area (SDCA).
