Kerala Telecommunication Circle serves an area of 389057 Sq. kms which includes the State of Kerala, Union  Territories of Lakshadweep  and Mahe (Part of Pondicherry U/T).  We  serve  around 31.9 million population having a tele-density of 18.75 per 100 population including CMTS.

 

             The telecom services including various  value  added  services are provided in all the 14 revenue districts comprising 63 Taluks and 1379 villages.

 

             BSNL is the leading service provider in Kerala in respect of Wireline, Mobile and other Value Added Telecom Services. We  are  at present  having  a  market  share  of  95% in  wireline and 33% in mobile services. We are fully committed to the development of Telecommunication services in Kerala. We have also embarked on a huge expansion programme for Broadband.

 

             Proposal for setting up a Content Delivery Network is under consideration during the current year, Clearing the entire waiting list in the Circle has been given top priority in our developmental programmes. Besides, a number initiatives are planned to bring about improvement in coverage and quality of telecom services.

 

             Customer Care Portal has been launched for easy customer access through web and for redressal of their problems.
