BSNL, Palakkad SSA has started a new mobile Customer Service Counter called ‘Counter On Wheels', for the benefit of its esteemed  customers. This will be greatly useful to the people all over the district, as the cash collection and other services are brought nearer to their place of office and residence. The response for the service is found to be very  good. The Counter will go to big residential colonies, large offices and important places in Palakkad town and to rural areas where there is no Telecom Center, at present.

Customers can pay their landline, WLL and mobile telephone bills here. Also available are India Telephone Card (ITC), Sancharnet (Internet account), Mobile Recharge Coupons and CD ROM of Telephone Directory.

Applications forms for New Landline and Mobile Phone Connection, External Shift of Telephones, Sancharnet etc are available in the Counter.

BSNL will inform the customers, through telephonic announcement, the schedule of the Counter in their area. It will work on all days except Sundays and other closed holidays.
