BSNL Kerala Circle signs MOU with Government of Kerala
for the IT @ School Project

BSNL Kerala Circle has signed an MOU with Government of Kerala on 09/12/2007

in the function presided by State Education Minister Sri.M.A.Baby for providing

Broadband Connectivity to 2800 High Schools.

The function was attended by Sri.K.S.Srinivasan CGMT, Sri. B.V.Ramanamurthy

GM (BB), Sri.M.Sivasankar IAS Director of Public Instruction, Dr. Ajayakumar IAS,

Secretary IT and Sri.K.Anvar Sadath Executive Director (IT @ School).

Kerala Circle would be providing the Broadband Services to over 2800

High Schools including Government, Government Aided and Private throughout

the State by August 2008. This would be extended to other Schools, Colleges,

Educational Institutions and Educational Offices in the next phase.
